Jabra announced their first all-in-one collaboration bar with advanced intelligent AI features . A smart move from Jabra by continuing the legacy of the popular 180° Panacast camera, which is already a very successful model. Engineered to be the first new-normal-ready intelligent video bar, Panacast 50 contains a new generation architecture which integrates audio, video, intelligence and safety that can provide seamless collaboration experience.
Panacast 50 small AI camera integrates two simultaneous video streams . So how is this usefull?? If one one camera stream participates on audience, second stream can participate on a whiteboard. Means you need to require a secondary content camera . Jabra is currently working with Microsoft and Zoom to get this enabled in their respective platforms. Camera also has AI sensors which can provide real time data stream . Camera is capable of location where the people are and how many people in the room(head count). Panacast 50 has a virtual director which is capable of real time active speaker tracking. Microphones detect where sound is comming from and intelligent camera sensors detect where the people are and their faces. This information combined and system understands who is speaking and camera directs to that person. Beauty is that camera tracks even with face masks on.The PanaCast 50 features eight professional-grade beam forming microphones. Designed in a precession array, microphones can pickup active speaker and automatic group framing technology eliminating human intervention. Panacast 50 integrates zero vibration array, four high performance speakers (2 X 50mm woofers and 2 X 20mm Tweeters) . Designed to produce crisp and clear audio, speakers are designed for both music and voice.
Panacast 50 can be provisioned over the network and can produce data over the network. This is a great relief for the IT teams as it makes management of the device easy. Email alerts can be configured and allows IT to create information on room usage.
